Ever made a decision that had people looking at you like you’ve completely lost the plot? 

That’s us right now. We just signed the lease for a brand-new office. Exciting, right? Except we’re moving out ASAP – yep, right before Christmas. Cue the raised eyebrows and the “Are you serious?!” comments… And honestly, I get it. It’s the busiest time of the year. Everyone’s juggling holiday chaos, decking the halls, and trying to figure out how to stuff a turkey and wrap 47 presents before the big day.

But here’s the thing…speed matters. We’ve got new team members starting on January 2nd and big hairy plans for 2025, we want everything wrapped up before Christmas (excuse the pun!) so we can hit the road running come January. No excuses, no delays. New year, new office, new staff, fresh start and all that. Sure, moving offices right before Christmas might seem like madness, but when has playing it safe ever led to anything extraordinary?

Think about it… Sara Blakely, the founder of Spanx, started her billion-dollar business by cutting the feet off her tights and pitching the idea to anyone who’d listen. Crazy? Sure. Successful? Absolutely. Richard Branson mortgaged his house to fund Virgin Records. People thought he was nuts, but it worked out pretty well for him, didn’t it?

The point is, the best things happen when you step outside your comfort zone, make the big moves, and have confidence in yourself to figure it out as you go. You see, here’s the thing…do you know happens if you don’t make plans?  Nothing. Whether it’s relocating your office, hiring that next staff member or buying that ticket to follow your favourite footie team on their tour around the world… the best things in life come from taking action.

Sure, moving before Christmas might seem a little nuts, but if we waited for the “perfect time,” we’d be stuck in the same old place. And let’s face it, we’re in logistics – we’re pretty good at planning for chaos.
